There’s no doubt that life is hard and you never know what it’s going to throw at you. Just getting through the day is a victory in itself. And sometimes, seeing the humor in all of life’s challenges makes it easier.

These people decided to find laughter in their hardships and they shared it with the world to see. We bet you’ll find these posts all too relatable!
Strictly Speaking
Parenting is certainly no walk in the park. Even if you read every parenting manual that’s ever been written, there’s no right and wrong way to do things.

Anyone who experienced growing up with strict parents will know the struggle of having to learn to work around rules and curfews. But parents everywhere remember—strict parents only raise sneaky children and the most convincing liars.
Don’t Mess With Millennials
While baby boomer parents might have more experience in being adults, that’s not to say that they’ve got their emotions figured out any more than your average millennial.

Okay, so they didn’t teach their own kids these skills, and now they’re trying to dunk on millennials for it? This person was simply not having it with the constant criticism that millennial parents get, and their clapback left us speechless. Savage!
Free Ramen
For most people these days, times are tough and money is tight. The price of everything seems to be going up and we’re all having to take on a side hustle just to get by.

Having your card declined when you’re already struggling is a day-ruiner for sure and this guy was having such a hard time that even the cashier took pity on him. At least now he has a sneaky contact next time he needs free ramen.
They Always Come Back
The internet is the best place to find and talk to like-minded strangers. Anyone going through a hard time can probably find some kind of group or thread where it seems like everyone else is going through something worse, and that’s therapeutic—in a strange and twisted way.

When this person’s life took a turn for the better, they turned their back on the very people who were giving them moral support. Just as fast as they left, karma had its own way of bringing them right back. Funny how that works.
Big Evening Plans
Social media has started to corrode our brains so much that doing something mind-numbing like watching TV, requires us to be doing something else mind-numbing. We have to make sure we’re not thinking a single thought at any point in time.

Even the most sociable people want a night for themselves sometimes. Sure, that looks different for everyone, but if this sounds familiar, it might be time to get out more.
The Usual Routine
People with a strong and dedicated work ethic are always trying to do more or be the best at what they do, so they can reap the rewards of their labor. But more often than not, the reward for going above and beyond is—you guessed it—more work.

We’re here to remind you that as frustrating as it might seem to be a nice person in a dog-eat-dog world, it always pays off to be nice in the end.
It Wasn’t Me
Anyone who’s ever been to see a therapist will know that usually, the first place to find trauma to unpack is to look back on your childhood. Recognizing your trauma is the first step to overcoming it.

It’s so ironic how parents are the source of these problems, yet when the time comes, they sweep everything under the rug and deny their involvement completely. Typical!
Got It Covered
Being an adult is tough, and it’s expensive. The idea of having to decide what to eat for three meals a day, every single day, for the rest of your life, is pretty exhausting. The idea of doing all of that while also dealing with depression—well that’s a whole other story.

We can’t say this is necessarily a good idea, but that math is pretty hard to dispute. We’re just wondering what other words of wisdom this book might have to offer.
Age-Old Problem
As we get older, the dread of turning 30 and leaving our “prime” can be overwhelming. What if you’re already struggling through your twenties? Surely it’s all downhill from there, right?

Life is too short and too tough to worry about the way you’ll look in a few years. If your 20s aren’t all they’ve cracked up to be, your 30s aren’t the end of your life! You have so much time to do and become everything you hope and wish for.
Procrastinators’ Tale
“Why leave for tomorrow what you can do today?” That’s the motivational quote that should inspire us to get things done with time to spare, but anyone who’s ever procrastinated before will know that this is easier said than done.

Chronic procrastinators everywhere will know this struggle all too well. Whether it’s schoolwork, house chores, or just tasks in general, those problems aren’t gone until you solve them. It’s a hard truth to swallow but a truth nonetheless.
Never Mind
We all have people in our lives whose laugh is even funnier than the jokes they tell. By the time they actually get the joke out, it doesn’t even matter anymore because they’ve already got the entire crowd laughing with them.

Bad delivery can totally ruin a good story. But if you’re friends with the right people, the delivery of a joke or a story doesn’t even matter because you’ll probably be laughing too hard to listen.
Core Memory Unlocked
Whether we like it or not, everyone does things that are embarrassing sometimes. Why is it that we’re always so much more likely to remember that one embarrassing thing we did years ago, rather than all the countless good memories?

We humans just can’t help it—and we always seem to think that the people who witnessed it are going to taunt us for it forever, when in reality, that’s probably not true.
Reddit and Weep
There are more social media platforms out there than we can count on two hands. Each one of them obviously has its own pros and cons, unless, of course, you have them all and endlessly flip between them.

The world of Reddit is a weird and wonderful place—one that many people are too hesitant to get involved with, and for good reason. With all strangers’ posts on there, you truly never quite know what you’re going to find.
Dreams Come True
If you have ever been a student, particularly going through the rollercoaster that is college, chances are pretty high that you’ve joked once or twice about wishing to be hit by a bus, just to get that sweet payout and avoid going to class.

Miranda has, literally and figuratively, hit the jackpot. Getting injured on campus? We’re hoping she made a full recovery, but either way, we’re sure she’s set for life after this.
YouWish
The internet has opened up a wealth of possibilities that just would never have been possible a mere decade or two ago. Nowadays, kids are aspiring to become lawyers or doctors less and less, in favor of the new “dream job”—Youtube Star.

The more we think about this one, the angrier we get. Let’s just blame it on the fact that we were born into the wrong generation, shall we?
Scheduled Nothing Time
Do you like being invited somewhere last minute? While some of us thrive on spontaneity and living life on the wild side without a plan, others much prefer to have their life scheduled down to the hour, with scheduled “do nothing time” included.

The next time you decide last minute that you’re going on an adventure unexpectedly, remember to check who you’re dealing with—we can’t have people sacrificing their bedtime rotting time, of course.
Nintend-Oh, No
Mario Kart 64 was one of those games that truly shaped so many peoples’ childhoods. Even those who wouldn’t consider themselves gamers were so proud of their achievements in the games that they would add it to their resume if they could. Losing all your progress in the game—well it’s like any other grief really.

We didn’t even know that there was a Nintendo hotline but we’re relieved to know that there is one, even if it couldn’t bring this devastated kid’s progress back.
The Other Woman
There are some things about womanhood that guys will just never understand. Even the ones who think they’ve got it all figured out will just never be on the same page because they’re not one of the girlies.

In case you didn’t get it, guys, the one on the right is a serious downgrade. But dudes wouldn’t even understand that it’s a downgrade, and that’s part of the problem.
Time is an Illusion
Anyone who’s familiar with working in retail will know that it requires a certain level of acting skills. Whether it’s fake politeness or the “customer service voice”—so many of us have been there before.

Most of the time we throw out a “good morning” without even thinking about it, but this customer was having absolutely none of this fake-nice business.
Dress to Impress
Most people tend to thrive in the summer. The weather’s better, the sun is shining, and everyone’s in good spirits. Unless it’s too hot, in which case we’re all too busy complaining about the heat to even worry about what clothes we’re wearing.

As soon as fall rolls around and that first brown leaf hits the ground, that’s how you know it’s time to defrost your coolest pieces and start dressing the way you really want to.
What Did You Say?
You know that awkward moment when someone tells you something and you have to ask them to repeat it? There are only so many times you can ask them to say it again before you have to just give up and pretend you understood what they said.

Honestly, we never knew that this was something that so many people experienced. Having subtitles would certainly make conversations a lot easier for everyone.
Sneaky Third Option
It’s not easy being an adult. Some of us have got the whole productivity thing nailed down, while others are still figuring out how to get tasks done. It always seems like the to-do list is neverending and sometimes we just want to avoid everything and get into bed.

When your brain doesn’t want you to do something, it’s kind of game over. In those cases, it’s best to just forget about it and come back when you’re ready.
Generous Allowance
As much as they might try to convince you otherwise, parents are making everything up as they go along. There’s no right or wrong way to parent, and that freedom is what makes some parents so much stricter than others.

It was only when we compared with other kids at school that we realized some people were getting hefty weekly allowances, while others were just grateful not to have been asked to pay rent. It takes all kinds to make a world, folks!
Prepare to Fail
The fear of failure is so real. Even in tasks that don’t have that much weight in the grand scheme of things, the idea that we won’t be good at something right away or have a hard time doing can be enough to put us off completely.

At least now we’re all getting stuck into therapy and recognizing patterns that happened as a result of our parents or childhoods. We finally have someone to blame besides ourselves for the way we behave. Phew!
Time Blind
For anyone who deals with any kind of neurodivergence issues, life and all its demands can be super overwhelming. As soon as there’s one thing scheduled to do, all normalcy goes out the window and you have to revolve your whole day around that one thing.

If you struggle with time management, it’s likely that you’ve been through this cycle before. You thought you had four hours for something and all of a sudden, you’re already late. Adulting is tough, man.
Hit Replay
Music has a powerful way of affecting us in ways it’s hard to explain. Whatever mood you’re in, or whatever you’re going through, there’s probably an entire playlist out there of songs with lyrics completely applicable to your situation.

We all know that there’s nothing more cathartic than listening to devastating music when we’re going through something tough. Sometimes, once isn’t enough! Replay as many times as you need to get those tears flowing.
Shower Your Problems Away
Taking a shower can be one of the easiest ways to forget about the stresses and problems of the day. If you’re feeling hot and bothered, a cold shower is a game-changer, but nothing beats the warm embrace of a scorching hot shower.

We had no idea we’d be called out by the people over at “Psychological Facts” today. Now those hour-long showers are starting to make sense.
Not Okay
It goes without saying that friends should check in with each other every now and again, just to see how everyone is doing. After all, these are tough times we’re living in.

When you know your friends are having a hard time, it can be tough to know how to help besides just checking in via text. And when both parties are going through it, then it’s just the blind leading the blind. At least he checked.
Birthday Dilemma
Birthdays are such an interesting topic. Everyone has one, yet no one quite knows the right protocol on the day. While we’re on the subject, has anyone figured out yet what we’re supposed to do while people are singing “Happy Birthday?” to you?

However you like to celebrate your special day, that’s your business and no one else’s. If you want to celebrate, be our guest! But if it’s just another day and you prefer to keep the fanfare to a minimum, you do you.
Sunday Scaries
Weekends come around at the same time every single week, without fail, and yet most of us haven’t quite got the hang of how best to spend them. Sundays are meant to be a day for relaxation and preparation for the week ahead, but they never really feel like that.

While it’s no fun to be stressing about your entire life on a Sunday evening, at least we can take solace in the fact that the Sunday Scaries are a quintessential part of the human experience.
Coping Mechanisms
Back when we were kids, our days after school were full of extracurricular activities and hobbies. Reading, soccer, gaming, you name it—the kids were doing it all. But as adults, it’s much more difficult to incorporate hobbies into our busy lives.

Sticking to one hobby without getting bored and moving to another is almost more difficult than taking up a hobby in the first place. Was it really a coping mechanism all along?
Eternal Pattern
ADHD is one of those conditions that’s really hard to understand if you aren’t experiencing it yourself. But if this sounds familiar to you, you’ll know just how debilitating it can be to try and get things done but instead just feel paralyzed.

We’re always promising ourselves that tomorrow will be a better day, and somehow it just never ends up being any different. Hey, at least if you have one thing, Aleksandr, it’s consistency.
Nothing New
The pandemic affected everybody in different ways. While there’s no denying that it separated people and made connection more difficult, it also brought people together in the sense that we were all going through the same experience and learning at the same time as each other.

Those days when we couldn’t be in close contact with others must have been really tough for busy extroverts, but for introverts, it was like nothing even changed at all.
Toadally Hilarious
The obligations and responsibilities of being an adult can often feel like too much to handle. That must be why dogs look so happy all the time, because they don’t have to worry about things like relationships, and taxes—they don’t have a care in the world.

So, a life condemned to being a little frog sitting on a leaf might sound like a punishment to a witch, but to us, it honestly sounds like a pretty nice respite.
Early Bird Gets the Worm
Unless you’re one of those mystical people who calls themselves an early riser and jumps out of bed at the crack of dawn without a problem, mornings can be pretty difficult. There’s nothing more devastating than having to tear yourself out of a comfy bed to get on and do the day.

It sounds like Kevin has the right idea here. If we could just have a one-day break to rest and rot every now and again, everything would be much easier to handle.
Student Solidarity
Exam season at school was no joke. Even as adults, we’re still having dreams about forgetting to study for a big test. But back in those days, knowing that someone else was feeling nervous and unprepared for an exam was just about the only thing that could make you feel better.

Unless, of course, they’re one of those people who say they haven’t studied and then go and ace the test while you were being serious. Those people are the worst.
And None for You, Glen Coco
Valentine’s Day is the time of year when all the people in relationships are having a great time, and everyone who isn’t can end up feeling bitter or sad that they’re missing out on gifts.

This was a sweet gesture for the teacher to make her students feel included, but super savage of her to simply assume that her student was single.
Dream Job
When you were a kid, did you aspire to be a famous soccer player? Or maybe you dreamt of being a cowboy, figure skater, or veterinarian? Whatever it was, the chances are that your life is probably very different from the way you imagined it to be.

We’re here to remind you that even if you’re what society deems to be an “adult”, it’s never too late to have dreams and aspirations of what you want to do or be when you grow up.
Famous Temper
Of all the celebrity chefs that have made a name for themselves, none has a more fiery temper than British legend Gordon Ramsay. His legendary hot-headedness has left contestants in tears for decades, and truth be told, Ramsay just wouldn’t be Ramsay without those sizzling tantrums.

He might be on the far end of the anger spectrum, but in a world where people constantly test our patience, can you really blame him?
