It’s good for every dog to be in a warm home with its family. But the house has a lot of rules, so the dog doesn’t always have as much freedom as it would if it lived outside.
This is mostly made up for by a soft bed, tasty food, and lots of kisses from the most loving person, but some dogs just have to get their energy out somewhere.
Sometimes, though, the owner just can’t afford it, so they have to figure out how to do it themselves. This is what a Staffordshire Bull Terrier that was eight months old did one day in his living room.
When his mom saw how he did, though, she was shocked and not so happy.
Total Chaos
People know Staffies for being very strong, which makes them sometimes very energetic. There is still some wildness in these dogs, even though breeders have worked hard for years to make them calm and loyal.
This is best known by Leah Fryer, whose house has a Staffie. They keep him in a box when she’s not home or when she can’t take him with her because of this.
On that one day, though, that crate couldn’t stop the dog whose old gene had come back to life. At first glance, Leah was shocked by how much trouble he made in her home when he had a lot of energy.
When she took her Staffie out of the crate, she saw him running back and forth, jumping on the couch, and eating a sock quickly as if he had never done that before.
Leah shared a video on TikTok that has since gone viral. In it, she said, “POV [Point of view]: you thought you would check on your pup to see if he was okay in his crate to find him not in his crate.” Since work doesn’t end for two more hours, all you can do is watch.
Later, in the comments, Leah said that her dog wasn’t even in the crate for long before he started destroying things. She said that because he was still so young, it was the best place for him.
Besides her, a lot of other people also said something about this movie.
Viewers’ Reactions
As you might have guessed, this video got a lot of attention because many TikTok users had responses to it.
Even though there was dog mess in the video, most of the comments were positive, and some people even shared their own stories that were similar.
One person wrote, “my dog does this and acts like he’s sleeping in his crate when he sees me coming home.”
“I already knew it was a staff member because my staff loves socks too.”
But even though they sometimes make a mess and get into trouble, we can’t blame them and love them even more.
