Losing a beloved pet is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. It’s okay for even the most famous people to miss their pets.
Now that her beloved dog Hank has died, Reese Witherspoon is in grief.
The actress, who was 48 years old, told people on social media on Tuesday that her beloved Labrador, Hank, had died.
Witherspoon’s family had had the dog for over 14 years. It was named after the country music star Hank Williams.
Witherspoon wrote in her Instagram stories, “We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank.” “Thank you for being the leader of the pack and the best family pet.”
Ava Phillippe, the actress’s daughter, also wrote a blog post about the dog’s death.
The 24-year-old wrote, “14 ½ years of pure love & constant tail wagging.” “His job title was “family pet,” and he did a great job.” Thanks Hanky for making us remember that every day is great.
Hank was also remembered by Reese Witherspoon’s son Deacon on Instagram. He called him “the happiest dog that ever lived.”
The Oscar winner for Walk the Line has a lot of pets at home. Celebrity Pets says that she also has a French bulldog named Minnie Pearl, a Labrador named Major, and a bulldog named Lou.
It is said that she also has a small farm with goats, pigs, chickens, a horse, and two tiny donkeys named Honky and Tonky.
Reese’s pets have been the focus of her social media posts a lot of the time. She posts pictures and videos of her family spending time with the animals at home, especially during the 2020 pandemic lockdowns.
Four years ago, Witherspoon said goodbye to another dog, Pepper. Now, Hank has died. She said that the French bulldog had been a “loyal and devoted family member” at the time of its death.
“I’m so sad, but I’m also so thankful for all the love and comfort she gave our family.” She is now in dog heaven, where all good pets go. She loves to chase tennis balls, run through wildflower-filled fields, and be the queen that she is.
It’s very hard to say goodbye to a pet dog. Our thoughts and prayers are with Reese Witherspoon and her family during this difficult time.
In honor of Hank, please tell this story.
