Rapper Sean Kingston arrested on California Army base shortly after SWAT raids his Florida mansion, even his mother was apprehended

Sean Kingston and his mom got arrested. First, Kingston’s mom was taken into custody at their Florida home. Then, Kingston himself was arrested in California on Thursday evening. They both face charges for doing sneaky stuff like fraud and theft.

An arrest warrant for the 34-year-old “Beautiful Girls” singer was issued earlier that day after a raid on a South Florida mansion he was renting. Kingston was in California for a performance at the time. They said he will be put in jail in San Bernardino, California.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office stated, “This evening police in Fort Irwin, Calif, arrested Kisean Anderson, also known as Sean Kingston without incident on an arrest warrant for numerous fraud and theft charges.

According to court papers from February 2024, Kingston lives at that house. A search found out the house is owned by a limited liability company. The investigation started in Dania Beach and cops served warrants at the house with help from the Davie Police SWAT team showed up to serve a search warrant at the big mansion the singer rents on Southwest 178th Avenue.

Earlier in the day, Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner 61 was arrested at the home on similar fraud and theft charges.
Before his arrest Kingston posted on Instagram,

“People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother! My lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”

Turner is also facing lots of fraud and theft charges. She is being held in Broward main jail on a $160,000 bond. During the raid, a bunch of fancy cars was seen parked outside the 7-bedroom 15,000-square-foot mansion.

Kingston was nabbed in California right after his mom got arrested in Florida. The police say he is in trouble for not being honest and taking stuff that wasn’t his.

Before all this, there was a lawsuit between Kingston and a company. Kingston, who was renting the mansion is accused of not finishing payments to VER VER Entertainment for a $150,000 entertainment system that included a huge TV. He told the company he would make promo videos with Justin Bieber for them but they never happened.

The police raided Kingston’s Florida house because of this lawsuit. They took his mom into custody there, and later they got Kingston in California.

Sean Kingston 34, is famous for songs like “Beautiful Girls,” “Fire Burning,” and “Eenie Meenie.”

In the past, he’s had legal troubles like a warrant for his arrest for grand theft in 2020 for not paying for jewelry he received. He’s also been sued for allegedly not paying for items he got from jewelers.

In 2011, Kingston crashed his watercraft into a bridge in Miami Beach and got seriously hurt.

It seems like Kingston has a history of getting into trouble like this. He is been in hot water before for not paying for stuff he got.

So, Kingston and his mom are in big trouble with the law right now.
