I finished my work on the project at the construction site peacefully. After hours of work, it’s time for a lunch break with all my colleagues. We are sitting near the yard when I hear a faint sound coming from nearby. Curious about the noise, I wonder what it could be but being with my colleagues, I quickly forget about it. After finishing lunch, I decided to follow the sound that caught my attention earlier. I’m shocked by what I find, a helpless dog.
From a distance, I noticed something around his neck that made it difficult for him to move. What was trapping his neck? The dog’s eyes were full of pain and helplessness, and I realized that if I didn’t help him quickly, he might not survive. As I got closer, I saw what was around his neck, a tight iron collar, with the chain digging deep into his neck. Without hesitation, I made it my mission to free the dog from this trapping chain and give him hope to survive.
My colleagues also helped me to save the dog. The scene was so heartbreaking and shocking, it was hard to imagine how he could survive with this iron chain around his neck. We couldn’t wait any longer, the smell where the dog lived was so pungent.
How could the world be so cruel? Maybe many people had seen him in that iron chain but no one had helped him. The dog’s chain was bound to a tree, which is why he couldn’t move to seek help. The dog’s owner was incredibly cruel.
After unbinding the chain from the tree, we immediately gave water to the dog. He was so thirsty that he drank all the water in the pot at once. Why was his master so cruel to him? His body was covered with wounds and flies around him. Dogs deserve respect and love from everyone. We cannot be so cruel to them. The chain was embedded so deeply that we couldn’t untie it.
The dog was very smart, he sensed our kindness and followed us without hesitation. However, he stopped along the way, perhaps hoping that his owner had come for him. It’s incredible how loyal this creature is despite everything, the dog still waits for his owner. I kept petting the dog that we loved even more than his previous master. He is so obedient and adorable, which makes it even more touching.
If we couldn’t get him to the hospital immediately, his neck might be permanently damaged. So, we rushed to the hospital and the dog remained calm the whole time. The doctor quickly came in to examine and know about his condition. We prayed to God, asking for his survival. if he didn’t survive we wondered how we could ever forgive ourselves. Please, God, do something for us.
The doctor said that the dog’s wound was very serious and that maggots had grown in it. My eyes were full of tears. We couldn’t imagine the pain he had endured. Human indifference makes the lives of stray dogs even more miserable.
The doctor said that we need to perform surgery and give him injections so he can recover as quickly as possible. It is stressful to see dogs in such conditions, but this treatment is essential for their recovery. Human beings often lack understanding about how to help animals in need. If we can’t help them, we shouldn’t harm them. We should also give them warmth and a happy life.
He is a small dog, but the chain was bigger than him. I feel angry at people who harm animals and, at the same time, sorry for these poor dogs. We are preparing the dog for surgery and will do our best to ensure he survives and cooperates with us during the treatment.
The doctor tried to cut off the chain and it was very difficult but they did their best. He will be fine soon. The doctor carefully cut off the chain and finally, they managed to remove it. The wound is deep but the dog is so brave that he kept wagging his tail.
During operation, I pray that everything goes well. Finally the operation is successful and soon he is alright and goes back to his daily routine and enjoys his life. The doctor admitted him in the hospital until he recovered from their trauma. Then he sends them into the dog shelter home where he lives and enjoys his new life.
