We’re feeling really sad today because we lost the awesome actress Jaclyn Jose. She was a big star in Philippine movies and TV. She was born on October 21, 1964, in Angeles City, Pampanga. Jaclyn, also known as Mary Jane Guck, started acting in movies with famous people like Lino Broca and Chito S. Roño.

Andi Eigenmann made a heartfelt announcement during a press conference, sharing the tragic news of her mother’s passing. According to Andi, her mother, Jaclyn Jose, passed away on the morning of Saturday, March 2, due to a sudden heart attack.

“With heavy hearts, we confirm the passing of my beloved mother, Mary Jane Guck, known to many as Jaclyn Jose,” Andi stated.

During this challenging time for their family, Andi appealed for privacy and understanding, saying, “As we navigate through this loss, we kindly ask for space and respect to mourn. We hope this request will help put an end to any speculation.”

Andi also paid tribute to her mother’s enduring legacy, expressing, “My mother’s legacy is undeniable, and it will continue to shine through her work, her children, her grandchildren, and the countless lives she has influenced.”

“Andi concluded with a poignant statement, ‘She herself, her life itself, was her greatest obra maestra.'”

The news of Jose’s passing was previously confirmed by talent management agency PPL Entertainment through a social media announcement.

guess what? In 2016, she won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in “Ma’ Rosa” by Brillante Mendoza. We don’t know why she passed away yet. Let’s remember her for being an incredible talent. Rest in peace, Jaclyn.
