On Monday, a concerned citizen found Kobe alone and barking at the Frank Niederwerfer Wildlife Sanctuary in South Windsor. It appeared Kobe had been abandoned, as his collar was tied to a tree.
The Tyler Regional Animal Care Shelter is now caring for Kobe. Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to find his owner and security cameras in the area didn’t capture anything.
Do you recognize Kobe? If you have any information about his owner or how he ended up at the Sanctuary, please contact the South Windsor Police.
Animal rights group Desmond’s Army is offering a hefty reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person who abandoned a dog in South Windsor.
