Penn State football suffers a blow as leading wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith enters the transfer portal.
Penn State football just lost a key player! Wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who caught the most passes and yards for the team last year, decided to transfer to another school.
Lambert-Smith had 53 catches for 673 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2023, but he wasn’t around the team at the end of spring practice. Coach Franklin wouldn’t answer questions about him.
Lambert-Smith played a lot over the past four years and is one of Penn State’s top receivers ever. He’s the only player to ever catch multiple passes for over 80 yards!
Penn State’s passing game wasn’t great last year, which might be why Lambert-Smith left. The team got a new offensive coordinator this offseason, so maybe things will change.
Lambert-Smith has one more year of college football left, and it will be interesting to see where he goes next!
