In the early morning, a girl went for a walk on the street and then on the road. She goes for a walk daily with her neighbors. Today, she saw a dog lying near a car, dirty and wet with muddy water. At first, she ignored the dog and continued on her way, but she could not stop thinking about him.
When she passed by him again, she saw the dog still laying in the same spot where she had left him near the roadside car. This time, she stopped near him and checked on the dog. The dog was sleeping at the time.
She touched the dog, and he got scared. The dog started whimpering helplessly, which was distressing. He barked at them continuously, trembling with fear. Seeing his helpless and frightened appearance, her heart went out to him.
She didn’t know what had happened in his past that made him so scared of humans. The girl tried to touch him again, but he barked at her and moved backward. He hid himself under the car, frightened, and continued barking at them.
When he was young, he had to live a wandering life that was so cruel that it left emotional scars. The dog hid and sat peacefully under the car, thinking he was finally safe from humans. They tried to coax the dog to accompany them and care for him in their home. But the dog was not ready to trust them, and he continuously barked at her. They continuously tried to persuade him to come with them, but he consistently resisted going with them.
Now, she went to a shop and bought food for the dog, hoping it would entice him to come out from under the car. She returned to where she had found the dog and approached him cautiously. She offered the dog food, but he ignored the offer, still wary of her intentions.
After a while, when he felt hungry, he stood up and approached the food. The girl was still there, watching the dog from a distance. The dog sniffed the food carefully and started eating. While eating, the girl slowly approached him, but when he saw her coming near, he got frightened again and quickly scurried back under the car.
The girl thought the dog might feel safer in the dark, so she waited patiently. She held the dog close to her and tried to comfort him, but every time she touched him, he whimpered and screamed as if to say that someone had hurt him so severely in the past that he couldn’t bring himself to trust anyone again. He seemed to be wondering how someone could be so stone-hearted and cruel.
She went to someone’s shop and got some water for him. She placed the water beside him, but again, he was terrified and started barking at her. She thoroughly tried to gain his trust, but the dog took some time to trust someone. Instead of drinking the water, he lay and quietly settled down.
Finally, she gained the dog’s trust and could take him with her, although he was still afraid of her. Soon, in the future, he found a new home where he lived a new and healthy life. What a poor dog he was. Perhaps at that time, he missed his mom very much because if his mom had been with him, he wouldn’t have ended up in that condition.
The girl promised the dog that she would take care of him and give him all the love he deserved and that in the future, he would forget all the past incidents that had happened to him. She cared for him like a child, nurturing him with kindness and compassion. The girl said, “Don’t worry, I will help you rediscover your beauty, and soon you will return to a better life.”
The girl welcomed the dog into her home and offered him a nourishing meal, which he was eating gratefully. After eating his fill, he took some time to unwind before his bath. However, he became frightened when she led him to the water and attempted to flee. The girl gently but firmly held him in place, speaking softly to calm his nerves.
With patience and care, she bathed the dog and cleaned him thoroughly. she was helping him to feel refreshed and renewed. After a complete checkup, the doctor examined that the dog did not have any diseases, but he had suffered with numerous wounds, indicating that someone had hurt and beaten him.
At last, we should treat our pets well and keep them from wandering outside. They deserve to be respected and loved.
