It’s definitely not easy to be a dog owner. A lot of the time, it’s like having a child, but for 10 to 15 years.
Because they can’t do it themselves, you need to know and think about a lot of things all the time. There are times when this is just too much.
That’s why mistakes happen. You lost the dog’s favorite toy and can’t find it, or you forgot to clean his bed.
Things like this do happen, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Aside from all the things we need to do every day, nobody should feel bad if they forget something.
What was wrong with this woman, though, was that she forgot to bring their leads with her when she went on a walk with her dogs.
Adapting To The Situation
Before Paulina knew this bad news, she had already driven for two hours straight, so it was too late to turn around and go home.
So that this wouldn’t ruin their trip, she went to her car to see what she could use as leads.
Paulina got a great idea when she found USB cords and headphones that were meant to be given away.
They would be her guides. Even though it’s not the best idea, it was the only one she had, and they couldn’t go back.
She put the headphones on one dog and the USB cords around the other. It worked, even though it was just a fake lead for the other dog.
It was amazing for Paulina that they didn’t figure out that those weren’t their stars. This trip was saved because of it.
They got a lot of strange looks on their hike, but Paulina didn’t mind. Her puppies’ safety was the only thing that counted.
“Taking them off the lead was not an option,” she told Newsweek. They can’t be recalled; like most small dogs, they do what they want.
Internet’s Reaction
She later put this video on her TikTok account, where it got a lot of attention and funny responses.
Someone wrote, “Being in the military, I would have done the same thing.” You have to use what you have sometimes! “Good job for not thinking inside the box!”
It’s important to be able to come up with your own solutions to problems sometimes, as this statement shows. It worked pretty well for Paulina.
Another person said, “Resourceful.” Either the headphones or my sweater did it!”
It’s a funny praise on Paulina’s idea, and it can also teach us that it’s okay to be “too prepared” sometimes.
Finally, someone said, “I forgot my puppy’s leash, so I had to attach him to my other dog’s lead, and they both felt how hard it was.” It was a short walk at night, so I could let them off when no one was around.
Seeing that this isn’t just my experience and that other people have had the same thing happen to them is interesting.
Finally, Paulina was able to solve the problem and adjust to the new situation, which let her and the dogs go on a great hike trip that everyone enjoyed. It was a very good experience.
