Two Ohio Students Arrested in Protest Crackdown

On Tuesday, two students at Ohio State University were arrested and charged with trespassing during a protest supporting Palestine. The protest was organised by several groups, including the Palestinian liberation movement and Ohio youth for climate justice.

According to Isabella Guinigundo, a spokesperson for Ohio youth for climate justice, the police told the protesters they were being too loud before arresting two individuals.

The university issued a statement saying that the protest became disruptive and multiple warnings were given before the arrests were made. The university emphasised its commitment to freedom of speech but took action to maintain order on campus.
