Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa is an American actor. He debuted as Jason Ioane on Baywatch. Hawaii (1999–2001) and played Ronon Dex on Stargate Atlantis (2005–2009). He is well-known for his role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones (2011–2012). Momoa starred in Frontier (2016–2018) and See (2019–2022). From 2016 to 2023, he portrayed Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe, appearing in Justice League (2017), Aquaman (2018), and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), among other cameos. He also played Duncan Idaho in Dune (2021) and starred in Fast X (2023).
