Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was slightly injured in a car accident on Friday and was taken to the hospital, according to police, who are investigating what happened.
A video showed that the car Ben-Gvir was in had flipped over, and two other people were also injured.
The accident occurred while Ben-Gvir was leaving the scene of a suspected stabbing attack in the city of Ramle, near Tel Aviv. A 21-year-old man, whom police said had mental health issues, had stabbed a 19-year-old woman. The suspect was trying to escape when a bystander shot him, stopping him from causing further harm.
The woman is in serious condition but is conscious and receiving treatment in the hospital.
