Exposed: The Over-Edited Photos That Raised Eyebrows

This could pass as a poster for a new sci-fi film, featuring a woman with shape-shifting abilities. Clearly, if Photoshop isn't used correctly, it can turn into your worst enemy. The distorted effect on the right side of her face is glaringly obvious, and the excessive smoothing isn't doing this image any favors. One might wonder if this image even needed editing in the first place. Our guess? Probably not. It's a missed opportunity because this shot had the potential to be outstanding. Unfortunately, it falls short.

It appears this Instagrammer believed she could trick anyone with just a pair of eyes into thinking this was her actual head. She affixed a model's head, seemingly from a magazine, over her own, taken at the gym. It's evident this person puts in a lot of effort at the gym—just look at those abs! That's dedication! However, the addition of the new head only leads to confusion and gives us a few nightmares.

There's absolutely no need for all the filters applied in this image. Seriously, are you kidding? If we looked like this woman at her age, we'd be absolutely ecstatic! She looks stunning even without the filters. She's truly beautiful! We sincerely hope she recognizes her own perfection because she truly is. On a separate note, we can't help but notice that the filtered version of this woman might resemble her daughter. It's evident how she's evolved from the left image to the right.

This Instagrammer decided to go ahead and shrink his head. We can't fathom any reason for this alteration, and the outcome is just downright eerie. It's almost like this man has fallen under some sort of curse, causing his head to shrink until he can find a way to break the spell. We genuinely hope he figures it out, because at this rate, he might not even have a head in his next photo. There's simply nothing natural about a head that size on a body like his.

However, in reality, they resemble a character straight out of a Tim Burton film, with oversized eyes, an excessively defined nose (at least she has one, right?), and lips that seem to stretch across the lower part of her face. This isn't an accurate representation of human features at all; it's more akin to a cartoon. We're not trying to be unkind, but let's be real!
