Yesterday was the celebration of Independence Day and what I saw there. There was a strange incident that happened in the street. Many children were playing together happily and enjoying their day with friends. Suddenly, I noticed something unusual happening but I ignored it, thinking it was just childish behavior given the occasion.
I had started to walk away but then I heard a strange sound that made me stop there the distress sound of a dog. My curiosity was high and I felt a strange urge to return and see what was happening. I turned around and returned to the spot where the children were playing. I wondering what could be causing the dog’s distress.
When I reached the spot. I was met with a strange happening. Children were painting a dog with different colors, causing visible distress to the animal. I couldn’t contain my anger after seeing the whole incident. It was very sad that on a day when everyone was celebrating independence, an innocent life was being made uncomfortable. The opposite between the joy of the children and the suffering of the dog was heartbreaking.
In anger, I ran out all the children from that spot to save the dog. I did not love stray animals but when something happened to them I could not bear it. All the children were scared and ran out but the dog thought that he was just playing with him but he could not know the bitter reality of the joke. The dog started playing with me but I went near him and he ran away.
Realizing I might have scared the dog further, I decided to stay for a while and comfort him. After some time, he began to trust me and allowed me to pet him. In a surprising turn, at the end he comforting with me instead, and I was able to gently touch him.
I said to him “ You look like a cloud in the blue sky”. After comforting him, I held the dog in my arms took him to a safe space and gave him something to eat. He ate the full meal. Some stray cats also came after smelling the meal. I took the puppy home and washed him properly. After the removal of the blue color, the dog appears white. He looked cuter and more innocent than before.
After his bath, the puppy began to shiver with cold, so I smoothly wrapped him in a warm towel to dry him off and used a hair dryer on a low setting to provide a gentle stream of warm air. I cut his nail and obediently he sat in my lap and cut out his nail. Once he felt comfortable and warm again. I presented him with a delicious dinner, which he ate up quickly, clearly enjoying the flavors. When his hunger removed he felt sleepy and I prepared a bag for him to sleep in, watching as soon fell fast asleep.
From the moment he woke up to the time he fell asleep, the dog spent his day with my lovely pet Snoopy. Snoopy was also so happy to meet his new friend, as he had been alone at home until then. Now, he has a companion to play with and a new family to live with. The two dogs quickly became friends and their friendship brought joy to our home.
Finally, I want to emphasize the importance of teaching our children to treat animals with kindness and respect. Since animals cannot speak or express their feelings, it’s important to educate our children on how to interact with them gently and compassionately. By doing so, we can prevent animal community and ensure a difference between humans and animals.
