Finding out that a dog’s owner is hurting them is one of the hardest things for a rescuer to go through.
They need to go to the house, talk to the owner, and tell them what they’re doing is wrong. After that, they need to try to take the puppy away from that place as soon as possible.
This is exactly what happened when a worried neighbor called a local rescue group to tell them about a cute puppy who needed help right away.
Help Is On The Way
The person helping finally got to the right house after spending hours looking for it.
They saw a cage in the yard right away, and a sad, tired face looked out at them as if she were asking for aid.
The savior talked to the owner right away and told them that this was never a good way to treat an animal. But the owner told them they didn’t want to pay for any vet bills; all they wanted was kids.
The rescuer didn’t want to give the puppy away because they knew it needed to go to the vet right away because its belly was so swollen.
They felt bad about leaving her behind when they looked down and saw the puppy looking at them with hopeful eyes. The rescuer chose to give the dog’s owner some money in return for the dog. The owner agreed to take the money.
This pretty girl was finally safe with a hooman who would do everything they could to make sure she had a good life.
At The Vet
The savior drove for an hour to get to the local vet, where the sick puppy was given a full checkup.
The vets found that she had too much fluid in her heart, which was putting pressure on her lungs.
The dog was very nervous because she was going to have surgery to drain her belly. She felt so much better thanks to the caring hoomans around her.
The person who came to help could see how poorly fed the puppy after all the fluid had been dried out. She was only skin and bones.
Still, everyone said that her health had improved, which meant that they could finally focus on making her look like the most beautiful girl in the world.
New Life
Once she got hungry again, she ate every meal with pleasure, which helped her gain a lot of healthy weight in just three months.
The savior couldn’t believe it was the same dog they had saved months before, so they named her Dulce.
She was joyful, fun, and full of life!
