In a legal proceeding that finalized on Tuesday, pop sensation Ariana Grande and real estate broker Dalton Gomez officially parted ways, putting an end to their nearly three-year marriage. The judgment, issued by the Los Angeles Superior Court, concluded a process that began six months ago when Grande filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to court documents, the couple had separated more than a year prior to the divorce filing. Their split was swiftly resolved with a pre-nuptial agreement and no children involved. They agreed in October to a settlement involving Grande paying $1,250,000 to Gomez and dividing proceeds from their Los Angeles home sale. Additionally, Grande agreed to cover up to $25,000 in Gomez’s attorneys’ fees.

They embarked on a whirlwind romance in January 2020, culminating in a public engagement announcement in December of the same year.During the pandemic, the couple spent time together in quarantine and even appeared together in the music video for Justin Bieber’s charity single “Stuck With U” in May 2020.

Despite their initial closeness, Grande and Gomez decided to part ways, marking the conclusion of a chapter that culminated in a private wedding ceremony at Grande’s Montecito, California home on May 15, 2021.

As the legal proceedings come to a close, Grande continues to focus on her thriving career. The Florida-born singer released her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” on March 8th, captivating fans. Additionally, producers have cast her to star as Glinda in the highly anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked” alongside Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, with a November release date.

While Grande and Gomez may have chosen separate paths, their fans can look forward to Grande’s continued success and captivating performances, both on screen and in the realm of music.
