Hey, check this out! Megan Fox’s Instagram stuff is making fans wonder if she and Machine Gun Kelly have broken up. Can you believe it? They got engaged just a year ago! Crazy, right?
On Feb. 12, Megan Fox posted on Instagram and got fans speculating whether she and Machine Gun Kelly had split. She quoted lyrics from Beyoncé’s song “Pray You Catch Me” and shared a mirror selfie, looking stunning in a black strapless outfit with a hot pink arm cast for her injured wrist.
Then, a fan commented, saying, “He probably got with Sophie,” to which Megan replied with a playful comeback, “Maybe I got with Sophie,” along with a fire emoji. Oh, the drama!
In her Instagram post, Megan shared a video of a burning envelope and two more mirror selfies. One of the selfies featured her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, standing beside her and holding the phone. In the background, you could spot a soap dispenser labeled “City of Phoenix.” It’s all quite intriguing!
Outside Drake’s Super Bowl
The last time Megan was spotted with the musician was on Feb. 10, outside Drake’s Super Bowl 2023 party at Hanger 1 in Scottsdale, the nearby city. There are photos of them walking together, hand in hand. Lovebirds in action!
Coors Light Bird’s Nest concert
Just a few hours before that, MGK was the headliner at the Coors Light Bird’s Nest concert series during the 2023 Waste Management Phoenix Open. Rocking the stage and entertaining the crowd!
Electric shock
During his performance, MGK experienced a funny moment when his hair stood on end due to what seemed like a static or electric shock. He even shared a fan’s video of the incident on his Instagram Story, saying, “Yooo. I got electrocuted and my hair stood up.”
Before the Super Bowl Weekend, both Megan and MGK attended the 2023 Grammys on Feb. 5. MGK was nominated for Best Rock Album, but unfortunately, he lost to Ozzy Osbourne. Two days later, Megan praised him on Instagram, congratulating him for the Grammy nomination. She expressed how proud she was of him, especially for handling the process with newfound grace and maturity. Such a sweet gesture!
egan and MGK got engaged back in January 2022, and their romance started in mid-2020. The love story began when they met on the set of the crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass early in 2020. According to both of them, it was love at first sight.
MGK shared that their trailers were next to each other on set, and he eagerly waited outside just to catch a glimpse of her beautiful eyes. He was smitten!
Megan, too, felt an instant connection when she met him. She described the moment she said hello and looked into his eyes, realizing he was what she called a “twin flame” – someone she deeply connected with on a soulful level. She even told him that they were like two halves of the same soul, and the feeling was there from the start.
future baby daddy
Since then, they couldn’t get enough of each other. Their public displays of affection were hard to miss, and at the MTV VMAs in September 2021, Megan playfully referred to MGK as her “future baby daddy.” So sweet!
Megan has three sons from her previous relationship with Brian Austin Green – Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, while MGK has a daughter, Casie, from his previous relationship with Emma Cannon.
Four months later from their first meeting, MGK took the plunge and proposed to Megan, and she shared a heartwarming video of the intimate proposal on her Instagram.
In her post on Jan. 12, Megan wrote, “A year and a half later, after going through thick and thin together, and sharing more laughter than I ever thought possible, he asked me to marry him.” She continued, “And just like in all our past lives, and in all the lives to come, I said yes.”
Planning Journey
According to a source in March, the couple had started to plan their wedding but were not in a hurry to walk down the aisle. They wanted to enjoy the process at their own pace. In May, MGK also gave some insight into their planning journey.
