The Latest News on Star Lala Kent Pregnant with Baby No. 2. Lala Kent, from Vanderpump Rules, shared happy news on March 3: she’s going to have another baby! In a cute Instagram picture, she showed her growing belly next to her daughter Ocean, who’s almost 3. Lala said she’s “expanding my pod” and thanked maryruthorganics for the vitamins.
In a video on Instagram Stories, Lala Kent said, “I’m so happy to finally share that I’m having another baby! It was tough keeping this secret.” She also mentioned she’ll talk more about it on her “Give Me Lala” podcast, starting with a special episode on March 4. In another picture, Lala Kent and her daughter were standing next to two bottles of vitamins. Lala wrote, “A maryruthorganics cheers to a new baby in my family.” The post got lots of nice comments, including one from Bravo star Heather Dubrow who said, “Congratulations!”
Lala shared that her daughter Ocean is really excited about having a new baby in the family because she loves babies. She said, “I think Ocean will be so happy when another baby joins us because she loves babies a lot.”
When asked about her journey to having another baby, Lala said, “We’re on the journey! We’re going full speed ahead.” It sounds like she’s really happy and looking forward to their new little family member.
In December, Lala Kent had mentioned on her podcast that she hoped to have a second child using a sperm donor. A month later, she shared that she had started the process through intrauterine insemination (IUI) as a single woman, using donor sperm from a cryobank.
“When my life took a different turn, I knew I wanted more kids,” she explained in a Cosmopolitan interview published on Jan. 30. “It was strange because everyone kept telling me, ‘You’ll find someone.’ But I started thinking, why does my desire for more children have to involve another person? I believe where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It seems like Lala is determined to expand her family on her own terms.
Lala Kent said, “I never thought I’d be on this path. I imagined a traditional family, but now I’m grateful for this option.”
