A rescuer’s task is never done.
While one animal lover was bathing a pup he had recently rescued, he received a call notifying him that another dog required his assistance.
The rescuer quickly finished with the puppy and put him to rest before heading down to the area.
But not before visiting the store and purchasing all of the goods required to make the newcomer feel as welcome and comfortable as possible.
Rescue Mission
When he came, the savior was stunned.
The area where the puppy was last seen was rather large, with many of places for a small dog to hide. But this rescuer wasn’t about to give up that simply.
He began surveying the area, searching every nook and cranny and screaming out for the adorable boy.
And when he was going to turn around and go somewhere else, he heard some odd screaming.
Knowing that he was presumably nearby, the rescuer descended into an abandoned house and discovered a small wagging tail beneath the steps.
There he was!
Even though he was afraid, the pup was very sociable, allowing the rescuer to quickly grab him and provide him with the attention he need.
As soon as they arrived at the car, the rescuer decided to cook a feast for the puppy. He gave him fresh water and some tasty dog chow.
This not only made the dog feel better, but it also increased his faith in his rescuers.
After his supper, it was time to go to the vet!
New Life
After a thorough checkup and being deemed fit as a fiddle, the pup was ready to move to his new loving home with the rescuer, where he would learn all the benefits of being a house dog.
The first item of business was to give him a lovely, sparkling bath to ensure that he was clean.
The hooman was gently bathing the pup’s paws, face, and body, reassuring him that he was in a safe place where nothing would ever hurt him again.
Once he was clean, the rescuer dried his fur and prepared another food for him; he deserved nothing less as a good boy!
After licking the entire platter clean, he was ready for his spa treatment.
While applying ointment to his paws and combing his fur and teeth, the rescuer seized the opportunity to strengthen his bond.
He kept talking to him in a soft and soothing tone, telling him about the new, wonderful chapter in his life that was about to begin.
Now that he looked like the most attractive boy ever, it was only natural to take him to the dog park and display his magnificence to the world.
He met the puppy that the hooman had rescued earlier. The two quickly became great friends, romping around and experiencing experiences together.
