Let’s be honest, when someone acts in a passive aggressive way towards you, it can be one of the most infuriating and frustrating things. But at the same time, how many of us actually feel comfortable with direct confrontation? And while we don’t condone any form of aggressive behavior, we can’t help but laugh at all of these clever acts of indirect confrontation.

From printing out signs with passive aggressive messages for the workplace to see, to coming up with ways to prank your roommates, to sneakily stealing your officemate’s food, here are over 35 people who have inspiringly dominated and mastered the art of passive aggressive behavior.
Passive Aggressive Petals
It looks like one of the housemates is having trouble remembering to pay rent on time. And since reminding them day after day in person didn’t seem to be working, they decided to sprinkle a few passive aggressive petals to help speed up the process.
So they left a trail of rose petals leading up to the bed, with a nice beautiful message that reads “Rent Due” in different and pretty pink, red, and white rose petal colors.

What can we say? Who doesn’t like a romantic gesture to get a message across?
The Passive Aggressive Mug Shot
It’s no secret that people like to bring in their own food to work, but there are also people who have their own special dishes that they bring, too. However, that doesn’t mean that they are cool with sharing either of them with their co-workers–hence the top sign that reads “people know not to touch my mug. It is the one with reindeers on it.”
But what it’s really saying, passive aggressively of course, is “you better not touch my reindeer mug or you’ll be in trouble.”

Funny enough though, that sign seemed to do just the opposite, as the culprits even posted a “mug shot”, confessing to their crime of touching the beautiful coffee cup. How funny!
Passive Painting
Another form of passive aggressiveness is gently rebelling or being a little bit stubborn when it comes to following up on a demand or request
Take Bob’s neighbor right here as an example. Apparently, Bob wanted them to paint their worn-down looking fence, but instead of explaining to Bob why they couldn’t or didn’t want to, they decided to backfire his request with some passive aggressiveness.
