A small brown pup believed it would be best if she hid in a drain pipe on the side of a road while searching for a cover from the hard life of the street.
Later known as Charlie, the small pup hoped someone would see her in this uncomfortable refuge and help her.
Sadly, nobody could have seen her little body since most of the automobiles were driving too quickly.
Charlie started to feel depressed when she understood this. She was ignorant, though, of the fact that her luck was about to turn.
Rescue Mission
Aubrey V Lynn could never have predicted that the kindest man that day would cause her work to be disrupted as she was working from home goodbye to her partner heading to the gym.
“My partner was leaving our neighborhood and went to the gym when he spotted her. I was at home working. Aubrey V Lynn stated, “He kept driving past and knew he couldn’t just leave her so [he] turned around and sent me a note.”
Aubrey felt they had to act as she couldn let this adorable puppy stay on the street another night.
Still, getting this doggo to safety proved more difficult than one would have assumed. Aubrey and her boyfriend were worried that if they were too tough with Charlie, he may run across traffic since the drain pipe was adjacent to a somewhat busy road.
Both of us were somewhat nervous since occasionally she emerged from the hole. She did not allow us go close enough, though, to grab her.
The couple then considered a really great concept. Hoping that would allow them to attract small Charlie out of the drain, they descended to their neighborhood pet store to pick some delicious dog food.
They arranged the mouthwatering trap and watched. Sadly, the terrified puppy remained not ready to come out even after twenty-four hours.
We tried to grab her for hours seated there. She wouldn’t come out, so we left, got back on our scooter, and she dashed right up to meet us.
Not want the pup to flee once more, Aubrey grabbed it fast. And as she did, Charlie seemed to be instantly in love with Aubrey, which helped him at last to unwind.
She calmed right away and refrained from trying to go.
New Life
Taking the cute puppy with her, Aubrey and her boyfriend headed back.
Though they didn’t really want a puppy, spending some time with Charlie rapidly changed their perspective and soon they couldn’t really see life without her in it.
Although our only goal was to bring her to safety, we never discussed it while trying to save her; I believe both of us understood at that very instant she was a member of our family now.
Aubrey and her boyfriend can’t help but consider how much of a wonderful addition to their family this sweet puppy is now they see Charlie running around and playing in their backyard.
Good girl, Charlie!
